Hello Kazakhstan!
We are the students of Edward Little High School. We are students in Mrs. Towns' World History classes. In her classes, we talk about the history of different areas of the world, country issues, and contributions to society. We are sophomores and we our ages range from 14 years old to 17 years old. There are 937 students in our school. Our building has three floors. There are students in our school whose families come from different areas of the world. The majority of our students have family from Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Africa. We also have students who practice different religions; Islam, Christianity and Judaism.
Our school days are seven hours long, and we have four different classes each day that last 80 minutes. We move from class to class, and have different teachers throughout the day. In the middle of our day we have lunch. Some students bring food from their home, and others eat school provided lunches which varies from salads, sandwiches, pizza, etc. After school, students either go home or participate in the different clubs and/or sports practices.
We live in the state of Maine in The United States of America. Our city, Auburn, has a population of 23,203. We love the outdoors. We have public beaches and many lakes to go swimming and boating. Sports are a big part of our daily lives. We like to play and watch baseball, soccer, hockey, lacrosse, tennis, basketball, American football and golf. On weekends, Saturday and Sunday, we have many community activities such as plays, live music, and art exhibitions. We recently built a twin ice rink, which is a hockey arena with two ice rinks. Together, we in Auburn make a large and well connected community.
